Safe, Confidential, Trauma-informed counselling in
Exeter and online

“Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes” Carl Jung

Hello and welcome

There are many reasons why you may be seeking a listening ear right now.

When life gets tough tolerance for stress and difficulty lessens, issues may present themselves, causing anxiety, low mood, affecting confidence and relationship dynamics. Perhaps you feel it is time to look at some well-worn habitual patterns that are no longer serving you but are difficult to move on from. Perhaps you have lost connection with who you are or what life means for you. Or maybe you would like support on the long journey of unravelling from a legacy of trauma. I offer a safe, confidential space to explore this with you at your own pace.

I consider you to be the expert of your own experience and the therapeutic relationship key to affecting change. Reflecting back what I hear and sense, can widen the field of awareness and emerging insights. I can provide short-term practical tools, as well as being alongside you for a longer journey, to guide you towards the change you seek. Sessions are led by what you have asked for and are based on a bespoke combination of mindfulness, embodiment, parts work, Attachment Theory, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and soul work. I support self-reflection and the cultivation of curiosity as an antidote to self-judgement, often our harshest critic – ultimately a compassionate encouragement to connect with all of who you are.

I offer a free 20-minute video call to discuss what brings you to counselling and see if we would work well together.

60 minute face to face sessions take place in a light and comfortable room in Exeter, a 5-minute walk from the Cathedral.

60 minute online sessions on request.
